Due to the great popularity and positive response from museum visitors and the media, the Richard Wagner Museum is extending its highly acclaimed special exhibition "Mensch Wagner" until 4 May 2025. In addition, the cabinet exhibition "Die Rosenstöcke: Richard Wagner's Life as a Picture Book" will be presented until 1 December 2024.

About the exhibition:
Richard Wagner: composer, poet, playwright, writer, philosopher of art, director, conductor, egomaniac, philanderer, anti-Semite, left-wing radical, climate activist, animal lover, genius... - But who was Richard Wagner really? As part of its 2024 summer exhibition, the Richard Wagner Museum is attempting to deconstruct the "Wagner myth" in order to get closer to Richard Wagner the man.
