All theatre... in ancient Greece : Digital

A digital interactive puzzle

08.05.2025 - 07.05.2030 ,
Residenz - Martin von Wagner Museum der Universität Würzburg (Residence - Martin von Wagner Museum of the University of Würzburg)

Have you ever been to the theatre or perhaps even played theatre yourself? 2500 years ago, people in ancient Greece were already fascinated by theatre performances. Here you can find out what the audience laughed (or perhaps cried) about back then and why the actors usually wore masks.
In collaboration with the Museum Education Centre in Munich, we have created digital learning opportunities for children on objects from our antiquities collection. These can be tried out at any time and whet the appetite for a visit to the museum.
