A digital interactive puzzle

Music has always accompanied people. Artefacts and texts from ancient Greece and Rome also show how important music was at that time. Unfortunately, almost no original ancient instruments have survived to this day. We therefore do not know for sure what music sounded like back then. Musical instruments are often depicted on vases. They tell us on what occasions music was played and by whom. They also give us an idea of the mood the music conveyed and how people danced to it.
In collaboration with the Museum Education Centre in Munich, we have created digital learning opportunities for children on objects from our antiquities collection. These can be tried out at any time and whet the appetite for a visit to the museum.
