Reception Hall Receives... Rathausgalerien (City Hall Galleries)

The Munich artist duo Empfangshalle, Corbinian Böhm and Michael Gruber, are showing a selection of works and project documentation from the last 20 years in the Rathausgalerien (City Hall Galleries).

Communication, cooperation and networking play a central role in the creation of their artworks. Starting with the idea, through realisation, to reception, the duo involves different groups involved in the process and the public. They have designed many of their projects for public or semi-public spaces, from the carport of Munich's waste management to schools, churches and a prison. The artists invite the public to exchange ideas. Thus, during the exhibition, the Rathausgalerien (City Hall Galleries) will quite literally become a "reception hall" at various events.
