Yet our circumstances are constantly changing, and with them our dining and table culture. In our fast-paced world, eating is not just about nourishment; it is increasingly becoming an occasion for socialising and conversation. Whether at home, in a restaurant, or at a picnic in the garden or park – the dining table, whatever form it takes and wherever it stands, becomes a stage for encounters and communication.
