Say it through the flower

With a deliberately polyphonic approach, the group exhibition "Say it through the flower" shows how flowers affect many areas of life. The world of plants and nature is illuminated in its various manifestations and questioned about the complex interaction between flowers, nature and people. If the artists are in love with the motif of the flower, they are just as much so because of its mysteriousness and its external charms. All the artworks in the exhibition say it to us through the flower.

The most prominent of the artists represented are the two painters Willi Geiger (1878 - 1971) and Rupprecht Geiger (1908 - 2009).

The exhibition, curated by Julia Geiger, Annette Hempfling and Stefan-Maria Mittendorf in cooperation with the Archiv Geiger (Archive violinist) in Munich, is presented as part of the "Flower Power Festival".
