Visual cognition, the systematic interpenetration of sensuality and intellect form a language of their own with their own laws: The centrepiece of the exhibition is the work of Raimer Jochims. The six participating artists have each developed in their own way a reduced artistic language that can be grasped through sight in order to be able to open up complex contexts. This consistency continues the radicalism of early modernism and can offer us the rare opportunity to reflect on artistic independence.
