The MuseumsQuartier is set for a colourful period: the major special exhibition “James Rizzi goes Tirschenreuth” presents a comprehensive retrospective of the internationally acclaimed Pop Art artist James Rizzi (1950–2011). His visual language is unique: the colourful and vibrant paintings in “My New York City” reflect the hustle and bustle of the big city, just as his thematic worlds “Birds & Animals” and “Fish & Water” showcase the diversity of animal life.
A 360-degree panoramic view takes visitors straight to the creative heart of this incomparable universe: Rizzi’s studio. There is a special Kids’ Artline at eye level, designed especially for children. So we can look forward to a vibrant summer in the city!
