The wolf has returned to Germany. While some value the animal as an important ecological factor, others are frightened by the idea of encountering a wolf in the forest and graziers fear for their animals.

The wolf has a bad reputation. You could call it the ‘Little Red Riding Hood syndrome’. Even in fairy tales, the wolf usually plays the role of the villain.
The exhibition provides objective information about the wolf and its fascinating characteristics.
It also addresses the challenges we face with its return.

This exhibition was put together by the Bamberg Natural History Museum and lent to us.
