We are surrounded by all kinds of fakes every day: Counterfeit branded products flood online shops, soya schnitzel looks like meat and artificial intelligence answers questions of all kinds.
But imitations, copies and fakes are not modern phenomena, they have always been part of our lives. The reasons for imitating, replacing or even counterfeiting things are just as varied as the fakes themselves: The spectrum ranges from criminal energy to pure pleasure.
The new special exhibition at Museum Oberschönenfeld (Museum Oberschönenfeld) takes you on an exciting journey through the world of the deceptively real and the real deception.
