With "Wohntrends in Miniatur - Modern Doll Furniture by Bodo Hennig, 1950-2000", the Museum Oberschönenfeld (Museum Oberschönenfeld) invites you on a journey of discovery through five decades of home decor. The special exhibition appeals equally to children, interior design fans and lovers of furniture designs and dolls. Bodo Henning specialised in the construction of doll's houses and doll's furniture in Wildpoldsried in the Oberallgäu region and always had his finger on the pulse of the times. Between 1950 and 2000, he created numerous mini pieces of furniture that reflect contemporary history. Visitors can immerse themselves in the living environments of the post-war period and trace the wishes and dreams of people at the time.
A very special highlight are five built rooms with furniture in original size. Visitors can wander through living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens from 1950 to 2000 and discover design classics such as a miniature version of Verner Panton's cantilever chair or a table reminiscent of the Tulip Table by Finnish architect and designer Eero Saarinen.
