The best pictures from the "Nature in Focus" photo competition can be admired in a special exhibition at the Museum of Man and Nature and are also touring Bavaria in two further exhibition copies. This competition has been held annually since 2007 and is jointly organised by the Museum of Man and Nature, the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection, and the Bavarian Natural History Museum with BIOTOPIA Lab.
The special exhibition will show the first three places in each category in three age groups, as well as a total of six special prizes. In addition to the winning pictures, other pictures, the so-called "honourable mentions", will be presented in electronic form. The spectrum of images ranges from impressive close-ups and moving portraits of animals and plants to action-packed shots. The images consistently impress with their high quality and surprising composition, as well as some truly incredible motifs that never fail to amaze even the experienced jury.
