The sculptor Christiane Löhr, who was born in Wiesbaden in 1965 and now lives in Cologne and Prato, Italy, creates an impressive sculptural and installation-based cosmos. She uses various materials from nature, which she places in a new spatial and architectural context. She uses organic elements such as flying seeds, plant stems, burrs, tree blossoms or horsehair as construction material for her unique work. The sculptor finds all the form-giving natural structures rather casually in order to then bring them into a new order and consciously place them in the space.
