The exhibition brings a Bavarian cultural asset to the museum: playing cards from Bavaria and card playing itself. The exhibition uses historically significant exhibits to show the development of Bavarian playing cards from their beginnings in the 14th century to the present day. It also reveals how Mozart's Magic Flute came to be played on playing cards from Regensburg and where else cards were played outside of pubs.
