Winter - the depiction of the cold season in times gone by. However, its history in pictures was and is not only a winter fairy tale (H. Heine), it is also a witness to a change in nature and climate. The winter exhibition of the Museum Georg Schäfer (Museum Georg Schäfer)'s art education programme shows winter in all its diversity and is aimed at young and old alike. Traditionally, winter also includes the anticipation of warm parlours at Christmas and a quiet or roaring end to the year. Not forgetting Lent and the many joys of carnival.
