The quality and perception of time has changed for us in recent years. Technological and social leaps have brought the fantastic stories from science fiction novels and films into our everyday lives. In addition, the lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic has given our rapidly changing world pause. Time always passes at the same speed, but it is experienced individually.
In her works, Martina Justus explores this abstract question of the perception of time.
The artist was born and grew up in Reutlingen. She has lived and worked in Düsseldorf since 2007.
