On 10 December 1692, 333 years ago, Father Markus Stoz, Superior of the Ebersberg Jesuit Residence, representing the local parish, consecrated the parish church of St. Ägidius in Öxing, which had been largely rebuilt in the Baroque style by the Grafing master mason Mayr.
After additional construction and decoration work, the Prince-Bishop of Freising, Johann Franz Eckher von Kapfing und Lichteneck, was able to solemnly consecrate the church on 5 June 1706.
Once the parish of Grafing had recovered financially to some extent after the major construction project, the church was furnished in the Rococo style in the 1780s, primarily with the installation of a new high altar and two new side altars, all of which were designed by master carpenter Anton Hildebrand from Markt Schwaben.
