On 2 February 1876, the Bote vom Untermain reported under Daily News: 1 Feb. A singing association was formed in Bürgstadt a/M. these days. As one learns, there is a very lively endeavour and the best prosperity is to be expected, as the association has very brave men at its head.
And so the choral society can celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2026. There will be an interesting special exhibition in the Bürgstadt Museum. The museum is open from Thursday to Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm.
