On 2 February 1876, the *Bote vom Untermain* reported in its ‘Daily News’ section: 1 February. A choral society has recently been formed in Bürgstadt a/M. We are told that there is a great deal of enthusiasm, and the society is expected to flourish, as it has placed some very capable men at its helm.
And so the choral society will be able to celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2026. To mark the occasion, there is an interesting special exhibition at the Bürgstadt Museum. The museum is open from Thursday to Sunday, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
