Resumption of the successful special exhibition.

Zugspitze flights and horse races, masked balls and jazz concerts - in the mid-1920s, the Golden Twenties also arrived in the Alpine foothills. Anyone who's anyone travelled to the mountains and enjoyed life to the full. Speed was the order of the day: in sport, in the development of technical equipment and in the construction of hotels and mountain railways. The exhibition conveys the lifestyle of this eventful time and does not forget its darker side: hardship and poverty after the First World War, political unrest and finally the rise of National Socialism.
