Important information:
The small studio exhibition "More precious than gold" shows works of the finest Augsburg gold and silversmith art in the Felicitas Hall of the Maximilianmuseum (Maximilian Museum).
The precious objects come from the collection of Augsburg native Fritz Dennerlein (1932-2018), an enthusiastic art lover and great admirer of Augsburg gold and silversmithing. When he died, his widow decided to support the Maximilianmuseum (Maximilian Museum) with the purchase of Augsburg goldsmiths' works from his estate in his memory. It is her wish to bring important works of art back to the place where they were created and make them accessible to the public.
