We encounter them as fictions, but also as real people: They fascinate, polarise and are omnipresent today. Find out what characterises heroes, who creates them and why we need them. We tell you about their deeds and their stories, but also about their darker sides. The Lokschuppen will be epic.

Be a hero yourself: Are you strong and/or clever? Are you a team player with special skills? Embark on a virtual hero's journey with your avatar and experience your own personal adventure. Monsters? Secret traps and labyrinthine labyrinths? No problem for you in the engine shed!

Every era has its heroes! The Lokschuppen Rosenheim (Engine shed Rosenheim) exhibition centre presents the world of the heroic on more than 1500 square metres: From Heracles to Jeanne d'Arc and Marie Curie to the heroes of Bern, Wonder Woman and Batman. Around 250 exhibits, interactive stations and an innovative media concept make the exhibition an experience for everyone!
