Susanne Tunn's œuvre ist characterized by careful interventions and spontaneous movements at the same time. She works with precisely planned voids in the stone, she lets tin find its way, she draws empty contours directly on the wall.
A certain slow meditation ist a dimension in Susanne Tunn's work that is barely perceptible. But whoever holds a small light gray stone heart of the artist in his hand, feels a moment what he feels - if he still feels. It is as if something inside lying in an outside space.
Susanne Tunn needs the challange, the matter that weighs tons needs the sparse gesture that empties itself. All her works behave asymmetrically to themselves in a double sense of the meaning; they generate a silence that tells of one, her search, and of changes that enable the finding of a respective own access.
