The new Hundertwasser Art Forum opens its doors on 15 March 2025 and invites visitors to experience Hundertwasser's work in all its diversity and visionary power.

The unique institution in Lindau on Lake Constance is dedicated to one of the most important artists of our time in an exclusive series of four exhibitions with different focal points over five years.

The opening exhibition "The Right to Dream" marks the start of the series and offers fascinating insights into the multifaceted work of this extraordinary artist. Hundertwasser unwaveringly realised his own dreams and visions. His work and endeavours reflect his striving for a more peaceful, harmonious world. From early watercolours and paintings to original Japanese colour woodcuts and screen prints, which develop a unique expressive power through his technical innovations, the exhibition shows Hundertwasser's unmistakable colours and dreamlike imagery. His works show what drove him and what he stood for: a life in harmony with nature and the freedom of individual creativity.

His art is a timeless appeal for peace, whose message is more relevant today than ever. Curated by Dr Sophie Sümmermann, the exhibition paints a portrait of an artist who championed a life in a better world.
