The second chapter of the project beständig war die Perle focuses on craftsmanship and the places of production - the workshops. In addition to the presentation in the exhibition space, walks invite visitors to explore the Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz neighbourhood. Places of current and historical production are visited together. Changes in production processes and transformations in Neugablonz are traced on the basis of the glass bead. A new video work reflects this exploration of the Neugablonz neighbourhood back into the exhibition at the Kunsthaus.
