Kunsthaus Kaufbeuren (Art house Kaufbeuren)
Since March 2025, a group of students on the Master's degree course in Identity Design at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences has been developing various ideas for the foyer and the surrounding urban space, based on the spatial situation of the Kunsthaus and its programme, in order to connect the interior and exterior spaces more closely and open up the Kunsthaus as a place to spend time. Who knows the building, what does the building do, what else would be possible?
In May, the students were out and about in Kaufbeuren with a travelling tower sculpture and asked passers-by about their impressions and ideas of the Kunsthaus. Drafts and ideas will be presented at the launch on 28 June and will invite new ideas and comments until mid-October.
