The exhibition "Emil Orlik to Max Lehrs. Artists' mail from around the world" presents the artist's unique collection of correspondence to the public in its entirety for the first time: The three albums with the bound originals can be admired open in display cases. Enlarged reproductions on the walls show special pieces in detail. All the letters and cards can be leafed through on a screen and viewed from all sides. In combination with thematically appropriate works and sketchbook pages from the rich Orlik holdings in the Graphic Art Collection, this provides an exciting insight into the artist's world. Visitors can follow Orlik's numerous journeys, but also get an idea of Orlik's diverse printmaking techniques, with which he constantly experimented.
