The artists Anna Pascó Boltà, Tobias Buckel, Elke Dreier, Tobias Kraft, Nina Laaf, Aleschija Seibt and Felix Leon Westner all explore space, the body and architecture in their own unique ways. Their work is linked by the question: How do interactions become visible,
and how do spaces open up to encounters?
HausBesuch is conceived as an ongoing dialogue: works installed from the outset – such as paintings, sculptures, videos and installations – engage with the performative works as the exhibition progresses. Gradually, an overall picture unfolds, connecting the interior space through the garden and out into the urban environment.
Performances and workshops invite visitors to get actively involved. They leave traces or documentation within the exhibition and alter or supplement the layout as time goes on. The exhibition conceives the Künstlerhaus Marktoberdorf as a living space of resonance that fosters encounters between art, architecture and people. An open-ended process that is meant to be experienced and can continue to have an impact long after the visit.
