Kreismuseum Bogenberg (District Museum Bogenberg)
Personal "togetherness" in times of increasingly disintegrating social cohesion, the importance of voluntary work - these are currently hot topics. The special exhibition looks at the past and present of voluntary organisations in the countryside, using the district of Straubing-Bogen as an example.
Historical exhibits, current interviews, films and audio stations come together in the exhibition to form a non-chronological ABC of associations. The variety of topics ranges from gender roles, tradition and innovation, service to others, sociability, festivals and celebrations to honours, townscapes, "home", etc. - a colourful kaleidoscope of past and present club life.
