KirchnerHAUS Museum (Kirchner House Museum)

For around ten years, the KirchnerHAUS Museum (Kirchner House Museum) in Aschaffenburg has been organising changing exhibitions on Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, the "Brücke" group of artists and Expressionism. Thanks to generous donations, the museum in the artist's birthplace now houses its own small but varied collection of works by the Expressionist. Rare books and exhibition catalogues from the Expressionist period, some with original woodcuts, enrich the collection. For the first time, the presentation provides an insight into the KirchnerHAUS Museum's own collection.
