Houses, schools, streets, playgrounds, underground trains, museums and railway stations: you know all this from the city. But who plans and builds all this? What do you need on a building site and what does it actually look like under the houses and streets?
Helmet on and off to the building site: erect walls from bricks with a crane, build large towers from bamboo poles and cover everything with a roof. Find out why walls don't fall down and what it takes to plan and build a house. Investigate how light and colour change rooms.
But building is not only done on earth: Explore where water, electricity and the internet come from and how they get into our homes.
From the design to the finished house: In the architect's office, equipped with a ruler, pencil and building materials, you then design a model of your own building project.
