Go on an exciting journey into life in the early Middle Ages. The stagings against the backdrop of a small village of the Bavarians will immerse you in the time of the 5th and 6th centuries AD. There is much to discover for visitors young and old in the museum's small special exhibition room. The exhibits are not only behind glass, but are integrated as replicas in everyday scenes. On islands with different themes and four hands-on stations, history can be experienced by all age groups.

The travelling exhibition was conceived by the Roman and Bavarian Museum in Kipfenberg. The pictures of the reconstructed early medieval houses come from the Bajuwarenhof Kirchheim in Kirchheim near Munich.
