Together with schoolchildren from Augsburg, we are designing the temporary installation for Purim in the permanent exhibition.
On Purim, Jews around the world celebrate the miraculous rescue recounted in the biblical Book of Esther. How did this come about, and why do people dress up on this day?
During a workshop, a primary school class from Augsburg learned about the festival and its customs and created their own objects, which we are displaying in the installation in the permanent exhibition.
