From 20 March, the Heimatmuseum Günzburg (Museum of local history Günzburg) is showing the travelling exhibition "Women's work has many faces - from the 19th century to the present day" in cooperation with the Catholic German Women's Association Günzburg. Christine Wachter and Gabriele Ritzler from the Günzburg Women's Association have brought the exhibition developed by the Trier Diocesan Association to Günzburg. "The topic is still topical and every woman - including in Günzburg - has had her own experiences," says Ritzler. On 13 roll-ups, the exhibition traces the history of working women, from industrialisation to the bourgeois image of women in the 19th century, political commitment and the fight for legal equality to the challenges of the present day.
