How did the people of Uffing experience the dramatic days in May 80 years ago?
How did the village develop in the war and post-war years, from the belief in the repeatedly invoked "final victory" to the invasion of the American troops? What did the transition from dictatorship to democracy mean for the individual? And what traces did the global historical events leave behind in a small village in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps?

The DORFWELTEN Home Museum addresses these questions in its new special exhibition to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the war.

The exhibition is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 3 and 6 pm.
