The exhibition invites visitors to experience the transformative powers of light, colour and space in artistic compositions. Works from the city's collection of modern and contemporary art are on display, supplemented by important loans from the neighbouring Kunstmuseum Walter and the collection of the Stadtsparkasse Augsburg. The exhibition combines works by renowned artists such as Günther Förg, Rupprecht Geiger, Victor Vasarely, Otto Piene, Herlinde Koelbl and Norbert Tadeusz with works by regional artists.

The carefully curated exhibition focuses on the interplay of fleeting light effects, intense colour surfaces and spatial illusions. Dynamic gestures, subtle nuances and multi-layered compositions create a unique atmosphere that makes the "H2" exhibition space in the Glaspalast industrial monument shine. The natural light, which flows into the staging through the characteristic architecture of the historic rooms and intensifies the exhibition experience, is particularly impressive. The exhibition thus invites visitors to experience the space in a completely new way, both visually and emotionally, and shows how light, colour and space merge into an atmospheric unity in art.
