Glasmuseum Frauenau (Frauenau Glass Museum)
To mark the 700th anniversary of the founding of the town of Frauenau, the Glass Museum is showing the exhibition "Creative Frauenau". It focuses on the artistic and creative people in Frauenau in the past and present. Over 60 people are represented with their works. The spectrum ranges from glass, painting and sculpture to literature and music. The high density of creative people in this small town certainly has its roots in the long tradition of glass production in the town, which has always required a high level of craftsmanship from the people. And, of course, socialising and the music associated with it also had its place in the glassworks environment. Visit the exhibition and experience the creative diversity in Frauenau.
