The preservation of memories, moments of life and human traces, as well as the associated sensitive sensing and superimposition of different levels of reality, unites the works of the three new members.

Eva Ertl's drawings show excerpts from everyday surroundings. Above all, however, those that normally go unnoticed or unappreciated: Rooms, objects, natural motifs; but sometimes literally from unusual angles and in a new light.

Erika Kassnel-Henneberg: We are the narrative of our own memories and the memories of others about us. This is how our identity is formed in a chronological context. But today we know that memory is neither true, nor objective, nor complete.

Katarina Sopčić's photography captures the harsh reality of the Carara marble mines in Tuscany and the delicate beauty of the surrounding hills. The brilliant white of the marble stands out against the earth and sky, creating a contrast that emphasises our human pursuit of beauty at all costs.
