Tradition and modernity - fashion and costume

The exhibition contradicts the idea of tradition as something rigid or backward-looking. Instead, it shows how craft techniques are transferred to the present day using new materials, current technologies and creative designs. Tradition appears here as something alive that is constantly changing, adapting and being reinterpreted.
Using selected works from fashion and traditional costume, we show how historical forms, regional clothing elements and artistic embroidery enter into a dialogue with contemporary design - between preservation and renewal, home and future, craftsmanship and couture.
