Jewellery and utensils

Galerie Handwerk (Gallery Craft) opens the exhibition "Jewellery and Tools" parallel to the International Crafts Fair in Munich. It brings together in one presentation some of the latest work by almost 60 internationally renowned goldsmiths and silversmiths from 17 countries.
In a way, the exhibition is an allusion to the title of the international special show "European Jewellery and Fine Tools", which Herbert Hofmann realised at the Craft Fair in Munich in 1959. Due to its exemplary character and success, it has been held regularly as a jewellery exhibition from 1962 until today. If Munich is considered an important centre of author's jewellery today, the special show "Jewellery" and the Galerie Handwerk (Gallery Craft) have played a significant role in this. Galerie Handwerk (Gallery Craft), founded in 1968, always accompanies the subject of jewellery on an international level and communicates it to the public.
