Full House - BBK Members Exhibit 2025

Annual exhibition of the BBK Munich and Upper Bavaria.

After the works of 453 participating artists in last year's members' exhibition "filled" six of the seven spacious halls of the artists' gallery, this year's show aims to reflect the lively participation of our members in the title "Full House".

In this case, more is more; more art that provides a truly comprehensive insight into the current production of the artists of our professional association and a varied view of exhibits in all media of contemporary art. The fact that format limits are adhered to here is due to the large number of works and prevents too tight a concentration, as the works should still have room to breathe.

A "Full House" is not a "Royal Flash", but it is a very good sheet that can and should assert itself immodestly, but not appear too dominant; it is unevenly paired, variable in its colours and motifs and relies less on harmony and sequence than on tension and imbalance. It does not calculate incontestability, remains unsecured and exposes itself to stress. Deriving an analogy to works of art here can serve the reception...

As expected, "Full House" will push the artists' gallery to its capacity limits, offering visitors an open opportunity to move through the cosmos of the most diverse styles, subjects and media, making it a special highlight in the annual programme. And if a work catches on, guests are invited to empty the full house with their purchases and thereby support the exhibiting artists.
