Debutants 2024

Since 1982, the Berufsverband Bildender Künstler*innen München und Oberbayern e. V. (BBK - Professional Association of Visual Artists Munich and Upper Bavaria) has offered young, exceptionally talented artists from Bavaria a platform to present their artistic work to a broader public within the framework of a group exhibition at the Galerie der Künstler, a central location of the Munich art scene. In addition to the development of exhibition practice, print work is also an important medium for young artists to generate national visibility for their own work. Therefore, the second component of the debutant funding is an accompanying monograph, which is financed with the support of the Free State of Bavaria and the LfA Förderbank Bayern. The three publications will be published during the exhibition opening.
