The decentralised special exhibition "ZeitRäume" (TimeSpaces) allows you to discover new stories at six different locations on the museum grounds that have not yet been featured in the historic houses. At the Samer Farm in Schönau, for example, you can learn about an artist who spent many years spending her summers at the small farm, occasionally giving painting lessons there, and eventually settling permanently at Königssee. At the Zollingerhalle, on the other hand, you will learn more about Marinus Bichler, a sawmill owner who was so popular in his hometown due to his voluntary work that the citizens even elected him mayor, even though he was not on the ballot.
Each "ZeitRaum" also highlights a decade from the 1970s onwards, i.e. from the museum's foundation. You will learn how Glentleiten has developed over time, but you will also encounter everyday phenomena such as the "Game of the Year", successful TV series and the music charts.
So set off and discover our "ZeitRäume"!
