A unique cultural landscape invites visitors to see nature with new eyes. The exhibition "Wood makes things happen! Wood, forest, tree and you?" opens our eyes to the power of forests, the importance of trees and our own role in this living interaction.
Visitors are invited to experience wood with all their senses. Different types of wood can be touched, characteristic tree scents can be smelled, and the special atmosphere of the material can be felt on a wooden lounger. Interactive stations – such as those surrounding the legendary Bräutigamseiche oak tree – combine knowledge transfer with playful experience.
The travelling exhibition continues to grow at each location and, for the first time, also displays objects, stories and perspectives from the Donaumoos in the Haus im Moos.
