We invite you on a fascinating journey through five decades of home décor! Immerse yourself in the past and discover highlights such as the iconic kidney-shaped table from the 1950s, the cosy Hollywood swing from the 1960s, the legendary "Panton Chair" from the 1970s or the charming "Ambiente" doll's house from 1990 with a pyramid-shaped glass roof - all faithfully reproduced in miniature format.
In our new special exhibition, we show the success story of Bodo Hennig, a trained toymaker and wood turner who began designing and manufacturing doll's furniture in 1950. With an unerring instinct for current furnishing trends, his company developed into the market leader in Germany in the 1980s.
The detailed doll's furniture tells the story of living from 1950 to 2000 in a unique way. But that's not all: in the exhibition you can also experience life-size, authentically furnished rooms that bring the living trends of five decades to life. Come with us on a journey into the living worlds of yesteryear!
