The photographer got to know Hans, an old farmer, and accompanied him at home with his camera for several years. "Hans, what is happiness for you?" he asked him. "I don't know. I have no idea. That I'm healthy and can be in the barn with my cattle." Hans has fallen out of time. He says he doesn't miss anything. Everything he needs, he has. If you don't have it, you don't need it. Hans died in the summer of 2017. The photographer has created a memorial to him in poetic and captivating black and white images.
