Almost two decades after the Ur-quattro, Audi launches another revolution with the TT. With its series debut in 1998, the Audi TT continues Audi history in its own way. For the first time, Audi's ever-present passion for technology was also evident in the design. The press gushes with praise for the powerful, hermetically sealed design. The second generation of the TT appeared in 2006, more grown-up and sportier, but still with a visible pedigree that once again made it a design icon. Awards such as the "World Design Car of the Year" 2007 document this status.
The TT is and remains the rolling proof of Audi's automotive passion; this is particularly true of the now third generation of the compact sports car with its emotional design and dynamic qualities. For 25 years now, the Audi TT has been inspiring people all over the world with its driving pleasure and clear design language. A round birthday and a good opportunity to take a closer look at the TT phenomenon and review the history of a car that has written design history.
