Since 1991, regular archaeological excavations in Germering have brought to light the remains of long-gone cultures. But even without elaborate excavations and technical aids, traces can be found in the fields around Germering with the naked eye alone. Relics of thousands of years of settlement. Anita Jensen set herself the task of finding and collecting these traces. In her voluntary work, she has picked up thousands of finds during field inspections. Her collection of finds covers all epochs of Germering's history from the Stone Age to the present day. In the exhibition sponsored by the Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments, the Förderverein Stadtmuseum Germering e.V., with the support of the Germering City Archives, presents the most interesting pieces of the collection to the public and shows what treasures are hidden in the Germering soil.
Discover traces from over 5,000 years of Germering's history from 23.7. to 15.10.2023 in the Germering Town Museum.
