The special exhibition shows a selection of works by the Aichach painter Willi Weisenhorn (born 1938), who became the property of the Stadtmuseum Aichach (City Museum Aichach) in the course of a donation in 2013.
The oil paintings and watercolours were created between 1938 and 1993 and depict scenes from the town of Paar as well as landscapes and places from the Aichach region. Since many of the motifs are no longer preserved in this form today, the exhibition documents the impressions of that time in a special way.
The picture opposite shows a collage of various Aichach sights. Among them are the Upper and Lower Gates, the Town Hall and the Woodpecker Tower. A stall at the town market and a cobbler at work can also be seen.
