Ismaning is characterised by many different bodies of water, whose course or shape is often difficult to recognise. However, things look completely different from above: Klaus Leidorf's aerial photographs give us a completely different perspective on the waters and their surroundings. But his flights also produce highly aesthetic photographs in which the fascinating structures and colours of our earth's surface and civilisation are captured in masterful image compositions.
Klaus Leidorf not only works in Bavaria, he has also travelled with his Cessna in Italy and Austria. That is why the exhibition curated by Julia Bezuidenhout not only shows photographs of Ismaning and the surrounding area, but also takes us on a flight to bodies of water in the most diverse regions.
